Having a Cat as a Dog Person.

I love Dogs, I grew up with dogs, a lot of different dogs.
I have had a mix of many dogs, a Saint Bernard, A Dachshund, a Cocker Spaniel  and also involved myself in projects helping Dogs (and other animals).
But recently, about a month ago I acquired a Cat.
Yes, its weird for me too seeing that I always wanted a Dog.

However the circumstances didn't allow it. I have to finance my life, my living place and the dog comes with heavy bills such as insurance, food, vet, and taxes (sucks). Also, I have to take him out 3 times a day which isn't bad, but time doesn't always allow that atm.

So I decided to look at Cats and found a rescue Cat from Romania. And through a slight misunderstanding I got a Cat the following day.
This meant I had to contact friends asking them if they had spare cat stuff until I could spoil the cat myself (I don't spoil her too much ;) ) but I did need essentials such as food and cat litter.

The cat is a typical indoor cat with white fur and black/grey spots. Rather small, 7 months old (6 when I got her) and now sterilized. Seeing a drugged Cat was the best thing ever.
She has her Cat tree, gets food and water and drives me insane most of the times (doesn't help a lot with my anger). And other parts of the day she cuddles me and that I like, except the cat hair.
In overall I do love my Cat, she takes care of herself in terms of cleaning and is potty trained, which makes everything a lot easier than a Dog.
However, one day I will get a Dog and love it to death like my Cat.

For all the dog lovers out there, if you can't get a Dog but want someone in your life, I would strongly consider adopting a cat. They are cheap (in comparison to pure breeds), don't require a lot of maintenance and make you happy and you also make them happy by giving them a new home.

Now to end this tale, a picture to feast your eyes upon my Princess.
That is all, a good day to you all.
