How Tolerance can change the World...

To start, I lived 5 years in Mexico where I was babtised and did my Catholic communion by choice when I was 12. I moved back to germany in 2010 and stopped going to church and practicing as much as I did in mexico. More and more I move away from religion but I am not an Atheist.
There are a lot of people who can't accept others religions or beliefs which is something that annoys me deeply. Personally I respect people of all religions and with all beliefs (unless you know they are neo-nazis or something like that). I stop respecting YOU if you give me a reason too. If you are an ass to me or worse, try to force your religion or belief on me I stop respecting you because you make your whole Religion/Belief look bad.
I know a lot of people are not that way and that is alright. A lot of people are raised differently in the world. Again that is alright. But what I think can make the world a lot better is a simple word: Tolerance.
I feel that people being tolerant of someones religion/belies or lifestyles everybody would be a lot happier.
Take all the anti gay protests for example. I respect that those protesting were raised differently and do not agree but I think they should at least be tolerant of the fact that the people living that life are different.
You don't have to like it or agree with it but being tolerant at least diminishes the hate a bit.
I think a little Tolerance can change the world bit by bit

Having a Cat as a Dog Person.

I love Dogs, I grew up with dogs, a lot of different dogs.
I have had a mix of many dogs, a Saint Bernard, A Dachshund, a Cocker Spaniel  and also involved myself in projects helping Dogs (and other animals).
But recently, about a month ago I acquired a Cat.
Yes, its weird for me too seeing that I always wanted a Dog.

However the circumstances didn't allow it. I have to finance my life, my living place and the dog comes with heavy bills such as insurance, food, vet, and taxes (sucks). Also, I have to take him out 3 times a day which isn't bad, but time doesn't always allow that atm.

So I decided to look at Cats and found a rescue Cat from Romania. And through a slight misunderstanding I got a Cat the following day.
This meant I had to contact friends asking them if they had spare cat stuff until I could spoil the cat myself (I don't spoil her too much ;) ) but I did need essentials such as food and cat litter.

The cat is a typical indoor cat with white fur and black/grey spots. Rather small, 7 months old (6 when I got her) and now sterilized. Seeing a drugged Cat was the best thing ever.
She has her Cat tree, gets food and water and drives me insane most of the times (doesn't help a lot with my anger). And other parts of the day she cuddles me and that I like, except the cat hair.
In overall I do love my Cat, she takes care of herself in terms of cleaning and is potty trained, which makes everything a lot easier than a Dog.
However, one day I will get a Dog and love it to death like my Cat.

For all the dog lovers out there, if you can't get a Dog but want someone in your life, I would strongly consider adopting a cat. They are cheap (in comparison to pure breeds), don't require a lot of maintenance and make you happy and you also make them happy by giving them a new home.

Now to end this tale, a picture to feast your eyes upon my Princess.
That is all, a good day to you all.

Anger as a part of my life.

Hey, today I will tell you a bit about myself.
I am a very angry person at times, if you'd know me in person you wouldn't think so as I usually am calm but other times usually in private I completely loose it.

A lot has happened in my life which led to me being angry but it started when I was 10 though I won't tell you the story just yet.

Though I pride myself in saying that I will never hurt someone I love physically in anger as I am smarter than that. Though I do see that small things that annoy me sometimes come together and I feel the anger rise inside me.
It's hard living like that since a lot of things can light the fuse.

  • Things not going right
  • Stress
  • Pain (Physically and emotionally)
  • Gaming ;)
  • and a lot more
Controlling it is a key part of living a good life I say and the person that has helped me the most wasn't a good friend or even a close family member, no, it was a psychologist I saw for about 2 years.
And yes I do know a lot of people have bad experiences with them but this one helped me. And she helped me in one key way. By listening to me and my problems.
fast forward to 2014, my family was going through issues and I saw another psychologist just to talk to her (insurance covered it). And she listened and I got better.
Of course I have to put in work to stay calm and most of the times it works but if I do get worked up I usually retreat and if I do snap I hit things (doors, boxes, etc) but never a person or someone I like or love.

This whole experience made me realize one thing. A lot of people do not have someone that listens to them. And a lot of people don't express their feelings and keep them in just like me, this leads to the pot boiling over and serious damage in the future.
I am open to listening to people if they need to talk (even you readers). Also I urge people that have anger issues or feelings they need to release to find someone they can talk to. It helps, it really does.

That is all, hope you enjoyed.

Lego Star Wars Ghost + Phantom Review Pt. 1

Good day to you fellow readers and bloggers. Today I want to try something different as I am a huge Lego Fan, particularly Star Wars. Yes I know, expensive taste.
Anyhow, I always wanted to review sets like one of my favorite youtubers (Jangbricks) does, yet I do not have the equipment he does so I want to write reviews instead and maybe one day I get to review those for a living on video? :D

I will focus on the looksize, play-features and figures which are the points that are the most important to me when buying a set.

Enough babbling, today I want to start with a set that has been in my eyes for a long time...drum roll please...the Ghost from the Star Wars rebels tv show and its baby, the Phantom.

As this is a first try I will start with the Phantom. Here are quick facts.

  • Comes with Ezra and Chopper
  • Retailed at around $25/€25 though as it is retired it is hard to find it at that price.
    • About 11 cents per piece
  • Combines with the Lego Star Wars Ghost
  • 234 Pieces
First here is a look at the set. (note: there is a shooter on top in the final build but I removed it as it looks wrong in my eyes and the two main guns are in the front).

The Phantom from the Show (taken from the Wiki)

It looks rather small when you look at the box yet once you actually get to build it it feels much bigger. Non the less it is still a small set.
Now id like to take a look at everything you can take off and open without any troubles.
As you can see the back part with the storage compartments and wings detaches completely which was a surprise to me when building this as this adds much to the size of the set. Also the fact that the cockpit can be detached enhances the play feature as it can be seen as an escape pod.

  • You can fit one mini figure in the Cockpit and one droid in the back compartment, so lets look at this from another angle.
  • The roof of the back comes off to fit in chopper, the roof also has a hatch on it to cover another storage in the back.

This is the back view without the cover.
You can see the droid compartment behind the cockpit and another small compartment used for Ezras Helmet/Hair and blaster.

Speaking of Ezra, we will not take a look at the figures.
Here we have our two figures, a bald Ezra and Chopper. Of course Ezra is not really bald as he comes with a piece of Hair and a Helmet. Chopper does look true to the show and is a noticeable smaller droid than lets say the R2 series droids.

In terms of play features there is not much other than a spring loaded shooter that goes on the roof of the back which I removed as it is not originally on the ship in the show and the look bothered me personally.

The Verdict:
  • It certainly looks close the the Show
  • It nice and handy for playing
  • Comes with two figures which look nice
  • The price was okay, It is normal now that LSW sets cost more than others
  • Overall id give it a 8/10

New UPDATES!!!

I guess you could say that I return once more. I finally came to the conclusion that youtube is not for me currently. Maybe one day if this blog ever goes somewhere we shall see.

For now I want to give blogging a serious try again.

What can you expect?

Well my goal is to do a multi-feature blog mainly focused on what I like, this will include:

  • Opinions (my personal opinions on subjects)
  • Reviews of either Legos (I love them), shows, games, movies, etc.
  • Other things such as updates or just venting or rambling

Why do I want to do so many topics?
Simply because a lot goes on in my mind and this way I think I can attract more people as there is something for everyone.
Another thing I really like is answering questions so I will always be up for Q&A´s.

For now this is all in this article. Next up is my Lego Star Wars review of the Ghost/Phantom.

My Thoughts On: Same Sex Relationships and Marriage

Keeping up with the spirit of Facebook currently I thought id post this ^^
Same sex relations have been a HUGE topic in the world and now that topic expanded to same sex marriage. Of course there are people in favor and there are also a load of people against it. By against I mean, they absolutely HATE gay marriage.
It's almost like there is no middle ground, you either like it or HATE it.
Anyways, my thoughts on gay marriage are ... Why Not ^^
I never understood why people are against it, I mean, personally it doesn't affect me at all, I mean how could two people of the same sex getting married affect me? Unless I am deeply in love with the woman (much like Ross from friends) or the man in other cases, it won't hurt me.
I also do not comprehend the huge hate gay people get from very religious people, yes I understand that it isn't in the bible but I don't think that the bible states that we are allowed to make people miserable either.
I don't know, I just think that the hate on gay people is useless, just let them be HAPPY for f*cks sake....
Oh well, that's just my take on this, I'd love to hear yours.
