YKWIH: Wrestling isn't Real People

Just a quick note, YKWIH is short for "You Know What I Hate" where I basically rant about things that bug me and so on.

Well the title of this post is gonna make me sound like an ultra wrestling fanboy, which I am not but I do follow wrestling.
Now what really bugs me is when I tell people about it and the first thing to come out of their mouths is "Wrestling is Fake".
Sigh.
No it is not, it is scripted, yes that is true. Yes there is certain communication in Wrestling between the athletes.
But here is the deal peeps.
As much as wrestling is scripted and some of the punches may not be hard punches,
it is by far not FAKE.
To be a pro wrestler you have to have extreme condition, you have to be able to perform the moves and keep up a good match and execute the moves correctly to not injure your partner.
ALSO, put this into perspective. You have a live show Monday, a taping Tuesday, maybe more taping Wednesday, then maybe some house shows the other days. All in different cities. Imagine if wrestlers actually beat each other to a pulp every night, no one could stand that. There is a reason boxers only fight every other month.

It also makes me wonder why people care so much that it is scripted, MOVIES, TV SHOWS are scripted, and people cry over them, HELL, people went Apeshit at Game Of Thrones during the season finale. Yet that is scripted as well but you do not hear anyone complaining about that.
Nobody says, "EH Ned Stark is just a character anyhow, he isn't really dead". No, you hear "HOLY DAMN they just killed him WTF MARTIN, I WILL STOP WATCHING NOW."
But when it comes to athletes trying to put on a show for their fans it is suddenly wrong.

In the end, the people with that opinion will never shut up I think and it is just to annoying to explain this every time...

Anyhow, hope this wasn't too cringy and see you all next time Peeps.
